DCSAA Delegates are the only people who can provide official union positions, information or recommendations to you. Certainly you have the right to take advice from non-leaders or non-employees and take action based on that advice. However you could be waiving your right to union assistance.
We follow a specific protocol due to our extensive responsibilities to the membership: if you have a problem or concern, you must start the process with your Delegate.
Save yourself time; do not contact our executive officers. They have significant responsibilities in other capacities and do not take field action. They will simply refer you to your Delegate.

The value of our Union is embodied in the following quote. Please read it carefully, and understand that we must support each other and all DCSAA activities or we will find ourselves looking for a new life with no one to speak out for us. The current situation is a very real threat to the jobs of every employee. Denial won’t save anyone . . . pretending it won’t happen to you will not cut it. Only an aggressive pro-active effort will give us a chance to survive the current assault on MDCPS and its employees.
